Car travel to Newcastle
Newcastle is 2 1/2 hrs north of Sydney on the Pacific Highway. Make sure you have a full carload – the adventure will be more fun, you will save on travel costs and transporting more people means you are maximising resource use. Be aware that Newcastle city centre has meter parking on weekdays. If you have roof racks or a tow bar rack you might want to bring your pushies so that once you are here you can get around town petrol-free! [link to 2 wheels]
