Critical Animals 2008 - Call for Co-directors
Critical Animals (www.criticalanimals.org) is a creative research symposium held during the annual This Is Not Art Festival in Newcastle (www.thisisnotart.org). It musters up honours students, postgraduate students (as well as those recently graduated and still at a loose end), early career academics, quasi-intellectuals and anyone else interested in devouring critical contexts for creative practice.
We are looking for a couple of creative and industrious critters to co-direct the symposium in 2008 (and on to 2009). If you are interested in applying please email a short EOI and summary of your CV to criticalanimals[at]octapod.org by 7th December, 2007.
This is a volunteer position* and requires semi-regular trips to Newcastle for This Is Not Art organisation meetings. This Is Not Art will be held 2-6 October, 2008.
Please forward to likely candidates and/or menageries.
* at this stage, unless you can rustle up some more funds.. which we would encourage you to do!
