Bar Staff, Exhibition sitters & Headcounters WANTED

by Marni Jackson last modified 2007-09-15 01:27

This Is Not Art is seeking volunteers who have a few hours to give to the smooth running of the festival.

In particular we are looking for people:

  • with their RSA who can work at the Festival Club bar for a four hour shift
or
  • who can hand out and collect surveys (no selling, just helping us get info on our audience) and do headcounts at venues. Again, a four hour shift and you get to stroll around to all the events looking important with a clipboard
or
  • who dont mind hanging in a gallery space for a few hours - we have several interesting, interactive exhibitions - and need gallery sitters to make it possible for us to keep the spaces open
or
  • who have a bit of local knowledge and can be our reps on the Info Booth, handing out programs and sunscreen
or
  • with a bit of basic tech knowledge / background who could help with setting up events and troubleshooting

Its all pretty easy and low stress - could even be fun!! You'll get to work with other friendly folk and meet people who've come to the festival from all across Australia. We'll give you a reference at the end, a special volunteers only souvenir, and our undying love and graditude for helping making sure the festival can run smoothly.

One or two shifts will make a huge difference - get in touch with Gemma our Volunteers Manager today! Email gemloren[at]gmail.com
