Son of Satan's Wife the Fourth

Crack Theatre Festival

Erika is a 52-year-old theatre-maker living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and caring for her son who has anxiety and depression. Cosmo is a 17-year-old musician living with depression and anxiety and caring for his mother who has DID. It’s hard to be a good mum when you forget who you are, and that you have children…When Erika joins the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) she feels like she has been given an invitation to a new life. But, beneath a mounting pile of incomprehensible bureaucracy in the aftermath of a terrifying mechanical restraint in hospital, she discovers that being funded for support does not necessarily lead to being supported.
